We received the results from the lumbar procedure late Thursday afternoon. We were told the results were normal, however there were some white cells and atypical cells that while not being an immediate cause for concern, could become a concern should the symptoms Karen was experiencing (tingling, numbness, loss of muscle control) return. In that case the lumbar puncture would again be necessary to determine if the atypical cells had turned cancerous. We welcomed the news of no immediate cause for concern and thank God for there being no cancer in this area and thank all of your for praying.
Karen said today she is sick of being sick. The fatigue, nausea and pain are really getting to her emotionally. Please pray for her to rest soundly and peacefully without pain and nausea. Also, pray the small bursts of energy she gets from time to time would increase so that she can do some of the things she’s been longing to do.
Until next time …
