Thursday, June 15th
Another week free of doctor appointments! Karen is scheduled to see the oncologist next Thursday, June 22nd. It’s been a wonderful week with Karen having plenty of energy and feeling great. In fact with two weeks away from doctors and good health it almost makes you feel “normal”.
Karen is still taking the Tamoxifen despite some spots of the rash. The rash remains small and somewhat irritating but she is determined to press on to see if it will improve with time. Please continue to pray for healing, wisdom and peace.
Because of ...
As we’ve said this past year has brought many valleys and peaks into our lives. One year ago we knew our neighbors names, occupations, etc… Over the course of this year we have come to really know our neighbors much better than that and understand how blessed we are with the wonderful families that live around us. We live in a fast paced, stuff filled society. Many of us hardly even now the people that live right next door much less on our street. Getting to know your neighbors takes time. Our time is easily chipped away by all the “stuff” that fills each of our days. Because of cancer, we know what wonderful neighbors we have living around us.
Until next week …
